Most of my client and volunteer work is done from the comfort of my desk chair in front of the computer, but last month I had a chance to employ some really traditional design methods — Sharpie Markers! For teacher appreciation week, the school’s PTA planning committee wanted to add some outdoor signage to go along with all that they were doing inside the teachers’ lounge, so I used the back side of our recent 5K sign and actually used a ruler, pencil, grid system, and markers to knock this one out. Best of all, it was totally FREE to create and hang.
