Richard Creative was honored to receive two Bronze Addy Awards at the 2017 Addy Awards, held Saturday, February 11th. The awards were bestowed for our work with Lola Magazine and Tejas Kitchen & Bar, two clients who are pouring their heart and soul into their respective endeavors, and who have brought innovative business concepts to the Shreveport area. It was a creative joy to work with both the clients and the wonderful photographers they brought to the projects.
Our work with Lola Magazine began with their inception in the summer of 2016, and the cover that received this award was published in their September/October issue. We went for a striking contrast between the cover photo and the masthead, and we loved the way that the texture and quality of the clothing took center stage.
We began working with Tejas Kitchen and Bar when chef/owner Weston McElwee was still in the renovation process. Their unique take on southwestern cuisine gone upscale was inspiring, and we were thrilled to market Tejas to Shreveport-Bossier. Outdoor advertising can be a challenging medium, and we employed the strategy of allowing the beautiful food and unique setting to do the talking.
Brittany Strickland captured the stunning images used, and we highlighted four specific areas of the Tejas concept. These digital ads rotated in several strategic locations with high traffic areas to maximize our reach.
We are excited and privileged to partner with local innovators and creatives, and we look forward to what the future will bring to the Richard Creative table.
