BIG NEWS this week for Richard Creative. A photographer friend of mine and I submitted a proposal to participate in the first-ever series of Pop UP shops in downtown Shreveport. Brian Buckner Photography and I joined forces to create the collaboration we’re calling Photographix.
So, what exactly is Photographix about? Glad you asked. Here’s an excerpt from the proposal we submitted to win this amazing opportunity.
The Photographix Vision for a Downtown Studio and Retail Store
The Photographix Pop UP will utilize the premium storefront location downtown to offer an engaging combination of ready-to-purchase items as well as made-to-order custom projects. This new business will be a collaboration of two existing, successful, independent endeavors. Brian Buckner Photography and Richard Creative are excited to team up to provide clients with an expanded offering of products and services. Together, we feel that we will be able to serve our clients better while reducing overhead expenses — a true win-win!
Art Gallery. Photography Studio. Retail Shop. Marketing Agency.
Art Gallery. Brian Buckner Photography boasts a large inventory of award-winning fine art photography to be shown and sold gallery style downtown. Richard Creative will add to this photo gallery with her hand drawn illustrations, printed and ready to frame.
Photography Studio. Brian Buckner Photography is ready to move his professionally appointed, full sized studio outside the home to better accommodate his commercial photography needs. Locals who wish to commission high end commercial and portrait photography will delight at the convenience and ease-of-use a downtown studio will offer. In addition, product photography is continually being developed as an area in which there is no real expertise in this geographic area. The product photography produced by Brian Buckner Photography is not only unique, but it fills a market niche lacking in the Ark-La-Tex.
Retail Shop. From fine art greeting cards, to illustrated tea towels, Photographix will offer a variety of gift items for the walk-in shopper. Richard Creative and Brian Buckner Photography have long had a vision of creating unique products that feature the imagery of both artists. This Pop UP presents the perfect opportunity to join forces and invest in a few choice items to keep in inventory.
Marketing Agency. Commercial Photography and Graphic Design are industries that naturally work well together. Photographix will now be able to offer clients in-house services that will employ the skill sets of both entrepreneurs. Need a custom holiday card, save-the-date, or birth announcement for your family? Look no further. Photographix will gladly photograph, design, print, and mail your personalized stationery. Is your company in need of advertising or online marketing? No problem. We’ll handle everything from product photography, to web design, to print ads and outdoor boards. Combining custom photography with graphic design will be a powerful feature of our business, and an area with a huge potential for growth in the future.
