The Louisiana State Exhibit Museum is a landmark that holds great historical significance for Northern Louisiana, and nostalgic significance for many Shreveport-Bossier residents. Renowned for its beautiful Art Deco architecture, original fresco, and, unforgettably, the live alligator that resided in the courtyard for many years, the Louisiana State Exhibit Museum has been visited by countless school children on field trips, tourists, and those simply interested in investigating our North Louisiana culture.

To commemorate its 76th year, the Museum commissioned a coffee table book to allow visitors to take a piece of history home with them. Richard Creative was proud to partner with the Louisiana State Exhibit Museum to design and create this special book. Featuring photography by Brian Lewis and in-depth stories and history about each piece by the Museum’s experts, the book beautifully captures the scope of the Museum’s exhibits, from the completely unique, vast outdoor fresco to the incredible, minute details of the diorama collection.
