One local non-profit is making great strides in helping to curb the stray cat and dog population here in Shreveport. Our family has majorly benefited from their low-cost spay and neuter services, as we currently have a backyard full of neighborhood cats who adopted us. Thankfully, their numbers will remain steady, rather than multiplying like most stray populations are prone to do. I’m all about being proactive about problem solving and Robinson’s Rescue is making that possible. Last month they reached their 30,000th spay/neuter surgery in just 6 short years in business. Amazing!
If you’re local to Shreveport, make plans to join them for DOGTOBERFEST at Marilynn’s Place, Friday, October 24, 2014. They’re going to be partying with the pups on the patio, enjoying drink specials and the delicious Southern cuisine for which MP is famous. Dress up your furry friend and enter to win the Halloween Costume Contest.
I was thrilled to help out with some design work to help promote this super-cute event. Click below to visit their event page on facebook and learn more.
