Richard Creative is proud to once again be a part of the Highland Jazz & Blues Festival Presented by Twisted Root Burger Co! The 14th edition of the Festival will be held Saturday, September 16, 2017.
The Annual Festival Kickoff Party will be held on Thursday, June 1 at Twisted Root Burger Co., 8690 Line Avenue in Shreveport, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Festival officials will announce the 2017 musician lineup and unveil the poster…designed by your friends at Richard Creative!
The Kickoff Party will also serve as a fundraiser for the Festival. So come on out and make sure you mention that you’re there to support HJBF when ordering.
Admission is free and open to the public. Free parking will be available at the restaurant. News media are welcome to take photographs and record video during the event. Launched in 2003, the Highland Jazz & Blues Festival has grown from a handful of bands and a crowd of 500 to 1,000 attendees to a gathering that includes two stages, ten bands, posters, food and art sales, t-shirts, and 10,000 music fans in the Highland area’s beautiful Columbia Park. The annual event is organized as a gift to the community from the Highland Area Partnership and proceeds raised are used to bring the festival back the following year.
